Information about the meeting of the heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI)
of V4+2 in Gumpoldskirchen

The annual meeting of heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions of V4 + 2 countries was held from 4 to 5 September. The Vice-president of the SAO SR, Mr. Vladimír Tóth, was entrusted with the leadership of the delegation. The purpose of the meeting was to prepare and coordinate the mentioned SAIs ahead of the upcoming Contact Committee. The negotiated topics included:

• Cooperation between the EU SAIs,
• Development in the area of accounting standards IPSAS/EPSAS,
• Planning of control activities.

The SAO SR representatives presented their views on the cooperation between SAIs and its most suitable forms and knowledge from SAO SR planning.

The conclusions of the negotiations are as follows:

• Draft resolution for the Contact Committee on cooperation between SAIs and European Court of Auditors,
• The agreement on realization an international seminar focused on planning of control activities for the V4+2 specialists.
