INTOSAI Subcommittee meeting June 13^th and 14^th

The two-day meeting of members from 11 countries of the world organization INTOSAI subcommittee began today at the Supreme Audit Office – SAO SR.

SAO SR as the Chair of the INTOSAI Subcommittee to promote the best practices and quality assurance through voluntary Peer Review was unanimously approved on 63 INTOSAI Governing Board meeting held in November 2012 in China. This includes the capacity building and the promotion of the best practices and quality assurance through voluntary Peer Review as a form of external evaluation of the Supreme Audit Institutions. The Peer Review projects play a key role in making decisions to improve their own operations, methodology and performance and overall skilled level of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).

There will participate representatives of the Moroccan SAI in the meeting in Bratislava as a Chairman of the INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee, as well as representatives of the Bangladeshi SAI in the position of the Subcommittee Vice-President, representatives of the Austrian SAI, who are also Deputies of the Secretary General of INTOSAI, representatives of Estonian SAI, the European Court of Auditors, Germany and Poland, Hungary and Sweden, as well as the permanent partners of the IDI and the OECD. The invitation was also accepted by the Vice President of the Swiss Federal Audit Office.
