SAO SR Vice President attended the seminar organised at the SAI of Germany 300th anniversary

The Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic Vice President Vladimír Tóth attended the seminar organised in Bonn at the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the German Bundesrechnungshof (Supreme Audit Institution of Germany) establishment. The origins of Bundesrechnungshof go to 1714 and this event was recalled at a gathering when the Federal Republic of Germany President Joachim Gauck took part along numerous guests from the whole Germany and abroad which also counted delegations from European supreme audit institutions.

In their speaches, the Federal Republic of Germany President Joachim Gauck, the European Court of Auditors President Vítor Manuel da Silva Caldeira, the INTOSAI General Secretary Dr. Josef Moser and the Bundesrechnungshof President Kay Scheller appraised the history, work and contribution of the Bundesrechnungshof for the society in national and international dimension. Viewing an exhibition with artefacts documenting the Bundesrechnungshof history and work was part of the event. At the conclusion of the gathering, a commemorative stamp to the 300th Bundesrechnungshof anniversary was introduced.
