The existence of MH Management has lost its meaning and should be abolished

Bratislava, May 15, 2020 - MH Management, a joint-stock company that manages state assets in amount of almost 250 million in various companies, does not fulfill the basic purpose of its establishment and should therefore be abolished in the exact time horizon. The agenda, it is responsible for today, should be transferred to a professional ministry.

This is one of the recommendations of the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic after finishing the audit focused on the functioning and management of this state-owned company. National auditors have identified cases of uneconomical conduct, such as office rentals and company car leases. Significant risks were also revealed in 39 pending litigations related to privatization projects, the financial implications of which are not covered in the joint stock company budget.

Expenditure on own operation or external legal services, including contractual relations with the lawyer's office of DR. R. Bžán, exceeded revenues several times over, so the management of MH Management consumed up to 90% of the financial resources taken over after the abolished National Property Fund in three years of operation.
