Visit of the President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova with the delegation at SAO SR

President of the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic (SAO SR) welcomed the President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Serafim Urechean, during his official visit of Slovakia who together with the delegation visited the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic in on May 27-30, 2014. In the context of preparing of the Association Agreement of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union the guests has the interest in our experience and practical knowledge. The Vice-presidents of SAO SR, Mr. Vladimír Tóth and Mr. Igor Šulaj, together with the Directors of the Departments and Divisions presented the scope and activities of SAO SR, activities of the Division of Methodology and Law, results and practical experience of ITSA (IT Self-assessment), PMF model (Performance Measurement Framework) as well as the scope and activities of the audit units and international activities of SAO SR.

During his visit of Slovakia, President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova also visited the region of Nitra where he was welcomed by the President of the Nitra Self-governing Region, Mr. Milan Belica. During visit of this region Mr. President had also discussions with the management of the Branch Office of SAO SR in Nitra.

During the official visit, the President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova and the President of the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic signed the Agreement of Cooperation focused on the exchange of knowledge and experience in the area of external public audit, exchange of knowledge in the area of implementation of procedures and standards in IT audit and exchange of information and materials on the activities of both contracting parties.
